Conference for Inclusive Higher Education in Baku, 2-3rd October
The Global Disability Foundation (GEV) has successfully concluded its presentations at the international conference, “Inclusive Higher Education: Academic Mobility and Accessibility of International Education,” held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The conference, which took place at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) on October 2-3, 2025, brought together experts in the field from around the world.
The GEV “Inclusive Education Presentation Team” from Türkiye shared its expertise and experience in creating inclusive and accessible educational environments with international attendees. The delegation’s presentations garnered significant interest. The esteemed members of the GEV delegation included:

Throughout the conference, critical topics such as the internationalization of universities, universal design principles, and the role of artificial intelligence in inclusivity were discussed. The contributions of the Global Disability Foundation were particularly significant in showcasing successful practices and innovative approaches from Türkiye on an international platform.
At the event’s conclusion, the key role of such international collaborations in building a barrier-free future for education was emphasized. The Global Disability Foundation aims to further its mission of inclusive education by integrating the knowledge and experience gained from the conference into its work in Türkiye.
